Patient Review 1:

I was terrified having my broken down back tooth taken out. The gave me a great sedation, I hardly remember the procedure. It was painless and they did not even use a forceps to pull the tooth, like you see in the movies. They something new, I think called ultrasonic blade to loosen up the tooth to preserve the bone and cause minimal trauma. The healing was easy and I will have my implant done in about three months. Overall much easier than I expected!

I had complete confidence in Dr. Pechak throughout my procedure. I felt that he took the time to assess my situation and tailored his approach to me as an individual (not just another person in the chair). I found his straight forward approach extremely refreshing as he took the time to ensure that I was thoroughly informed of all options and potential scenarios.

Dr. Pechak team sets the gold standard for customer service. I felt at ease throughout the entire process (from the genuine greeting as I entered the office until the moment I left). I have never dealt with a more responsive support staff and I know any question or need will be addressed promptly and professionally.

I strongly recommend Dr Pechak and the Perio & Implant Center. I had him extract a tooth and put in an implant. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me, and I really like that. I knew exactly what he was going to do, how long it was going to take (1 hour) , how much pain I would have (very little) and how long the recovery process would be (a few months). His staff was great, too. They always provided appointment reminders, helped with my dental insurance, etc. Put me down as 100% satisfied.

Dr. Pechak and his staff are superb! Never has a dental experience been one that we would actually want to repeat, but this office is the best! Now we know why everyone is talking about this highly professional expert, Dr. Jochen Pechak. It is great to know of someone so talented in his field.

Also, Vicky, the hygenist did my teeth cleaning using expert technique, smooth, gentle and very thorough. Her upbeat and kind personality was appreciated.

The whole office staff was cordial, kind and competent. An added bonus is the visual set up of the office; an aesthetic delight. Not only did the work get done, we knew we were in good hands. (We enjoyed watching a beautiful film about Earth on a flat screen monitor...) If you've got to have it done, this is the place you can trust.

If going to the dentist can be a pleasant experience, this is it! Dr. Pechak placed an implant in a little over an hour, and then I went on to Dr. Christian Nino (also of Monterey) who fitted me with the abutment (sp?) and made a beautiful crown on the spot. The entire process took less than 3 hours and I no longer have a hole in my mouth, with only mild discomfort.

The office staff is warm and friendly. The appointments were timed almost perfectly, no extra waiting on my part, and the office is a pleasure to look at!

All dental experiences should be as comfortable.

The Perio & Implant Center, the staff and Dr. Pechak is the very best possible care you could receive, devoting skill and impeccable knowledge to complete needed procedures.

I highly recommend Dr. Pechak, he is very gentle. My bridges needed to be removed, two extractions and a bone graft was placed. Ibuprofen was the only medication needed for comfort and healing went well. In three months I will have four implants placed, heal and finish with crowns. I feel very secure under the care of Dr. Pechak. I will never have to be concerned again about the two lower bridges, one on the lower right and one on the lower left. I have had these bridges since my middle twenties and had them to replace one missing tooth on each side, over the years I have had four new bridge replacements, and each change has been difficult on the teeth in my mouth. Implants were not available when I began my journey. If they were, I would have chosen them right away eliminating the cost of four bridges and two extra implants. We are very blessed to have this type of technology available to us now and privileged to have Dr. Pechak here in our Monterey County! THANK YOU!-cl

The very best in patient care!!!

WOW!!! What an amazing office! The atmosphere is so calming, the staff so caring and Dr. Pechak so skilled. They saw me immediately and with such great care. If every office was as pristine and relaxing as Dr. Pechaks there would be no such thing as dental phobia.

If you need a peridontist, Dr. Pechak is the one to see. I needed an implant and the entire process went perfect. The moment you walk into the office you feel comfortable. The decor is beautiful, receptionists are friendly and helpful. Dr. Pechak takes time with you to assure you understand the options and procedures. I have had a tooth extraction, bone graft and implant and all procedures were painless. An added bonus, all prescriptions are provided, so there is no need to go the pharmacy. I highly recommend Dr. Pechak.!

I am a visitor from Germany and needed desperately a dentist and what a luck I find the office!

The funny about it is that Dr. Pechak is from Germany too

The Perio & Implant Center is the best Dental Office I've ever been!!

When you came in the office it is like a Paradise. You became Spa neck pillow and Spa towel wich is

I give my highest level of recommendation for Dr. Pechak to anyone that has a need for periodontal work. I discovered that it was necessary to get an implant many years after an accident that chipped my front teeth. I was concerned and anxious about the aesthetics of an implant given the prominence of the front tooth. Dr. Pechak did an exceptional job considering the aesthetics and the functionality of the implant. My case was complicated and he coordinated and lead the problem solving with my dentist and endodentist to get me the best possible care and implant. He is truly a skilled professional.

Dr. Pechak was referred to me by my dentist and has far exceeded all of my expectations. He is an expert in his field with the cutting edge technology and knowledge. He and his staff conducted themselves in a professional, friendly, and caring manner. He assessed my needs, clarified my options, and clearly articulated what to expect. He went above and beyond my expectations in the effort made to achieve the best position of my gumline to fit my crowns.

Given the nature of this process, his knowledge, support and overall approach gave me back my smile, literally and figuratively. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone.

The professional skill of the hygienist was without question, the smoothest, comfortable cleaning I have ever experienced. YOU MUST try this and experience the pleasure of great patient care for a CHANGE, and hey -- they were less expensive and even take my DELTA DENTAL insurance! FIVE STARS.

As a pre WWII child from Europe, my dental experiences were horrific. I am considered a highly phobic patient, so imagine after being an 'american' for 30 years only to learn this late in life, I need dental surgery! TERRIFYING. So, I put it off until one day, i was awakened by horrific pain, my worst nightmare. Without a choice, visited Dr Pechak after many many interviews with other oral surgeons and periodontists from Monterey to San Jose. I chose Dr Pechak and his team because they comforted me, they explained things to me so I understood it clearly, they took time and care in every aspect of my treatment and above all, they encompassed total empathy and understanding. To find the 'total experience' with a Doctor as highly skilled as Dr Pechak, is indeed rare and exceptional. The team told me I would be pleasantly surprised at how much ease I would have in healing and much to my skeptical mind, THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. My healing was little to no pain, even his injections were impossible to feel, and my return visit with hygienist was equally as exceptional, I barely felt her working and I am a difficult case and had loads of work done. If you have not been for peek, just walk in and see this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

About Hygienist: The hygiene department here is a specialty department, so they have extra training for Periodontists - makes a huge difference! ASK YOURSELF THIS, when have you had an screening for oral cancer, a floss lesson, a warm lavender wrap placed around your shoulders, free stuff and been able to watch a soothing movie while having your teeth cleaned? AND THE SKILL, without a poke or a pinch at any time -- and I have not been cleaned in 7 years, it was remarkable, relaxing and she removed stains that no other cleaner has ever been able to remove. Yet another, phenominal experience from an exceptional team! JUST TRY THIS ONCE! You will never live without it!
